At Saint Paschal Baylon School, the safety, care, and well-being of our students are central to everything we do. As a Catholic school community, we are deeply aware of the heartbreak experienced by families and educators affected by acts of violence, and we continue to lift them up in prayer.

Our leadership and faculty take a thoughtful, proactive, and comprehensive approach to maintaining a secure learning environment, one that allows our students to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally with confidence and peace.
 

Our safety efforts include:

• Ongoing reviews of campus facilities and security measures

• Clear and well-practiced emergency and crisis response plans

• Regular training for faculty and staff in emergency preparedness and response

• Safe Environment (VIRTUS) training and fingerprinting for all employees and volunteers

• Continued investment in campus safety equipment, including secure entry points and monitoring systems

• Strong collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency responders
   

In addition, our school’s security council, the Saint Michael’s Group, takes an active and ongoing role in evaluating our safety practices, reviewing protocols, and identifying opportunities to further strengthen security across our campus. They partner with our school to enhance campus security, offering an added layer of security at public events and when students are using parish spaces.
