SCHOOL FAMILIES
Over the decades, SPBS families have built a warm, welcoming school culture where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
With strong partnerships among families, parish leaders, and educators, our community continues to promote compassion, stewardship, and leadership well beyond the classroom.

PARENT COMMUNITY
PARENT TEACHER BOARD
At Saint Paschal Baylon School, our Parent Teacher Organization PTO plays an important role in creating the warm, connected community that families value so deeply. The PTO serves as a bridge between parents, teachers, and school leadership, working together to support students, enrich campus life, and strengthen our school family.
All SPBS parents and guardians are members of the PTO and are invited to participate at a level that works best for their family. Whether volunteering time, sharing ideas, or simply attending an event, every contribution helps foster a positive and welcoming school environment.
The PTO supports a wide range of school initiatives and events throughout the year, including family gatherings, teacher and staff appreciation, community building activities, and fundraising efforts that directly benefit students and classrooms. PTO led programs help fund enrichment opportunities, campus enhancements, and resources that support academic and extracurricular programs.
Beyond fundraising, the PTO helps create meaningful connections among families, especially for new parents, through social events and volunteer opportunities that make it easy to get involved and feel at home at SPBS.
At SPBS, it is our families who make our school community truly special.

Coordinate volunteers

The membership of the PTO includes the Pastor, the Principal, all parents or legal guardians, and the faculty of the school. The PTO Board members are elected to the four SPBS PTO Executive Board positions by the SPBS parents annually as prescribed in the Board’s Bylaws; and they must have students currently enrolled in SPBS, during their entire term on the PTO Board. PTO Committee Chair positions are appointed by the Principal. Operation and structure of our PTO Board is governed by the regulations as found in the SPBS Parent Teacher Organization Bylaws, which are based on Department of Catholic Schools (DSC) Administrative Handbook guidelines.
