About Saint Paschal Baylon School
We believe that our mission as Catholic educators in a changing world is to provide for the formation of the whole child, fostering spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and aesthetic growth by implement the spirit of the document, "To Teach as Jesus Did."
Saint Paschal Baylon School (SPBS) is a Catholic parochial elementary school supported by Saint Paschal Baylon Parish. Guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, we partner with families who value a faith-centered education rooted in academic excellence, character formation, and service to others.
While our foundation is Catholic, SPBS warmly welcomes families of all faith traditions who respect and support our mission. We believe a Catholic education offers timeless values of compassion, integrity, responsibility, and service, that enrich students of every background and help form thoughtful, confident leaders.
Our primary mission is to serve families of Saint Paschal Baylon Parish and neighboring parishes. Active, supporting members of Saint Paschal Baylon Parish receive priority enrollment and are eligible for a reduced in-parish tuition rate.

SCHOOL HISTORY
Honoring Our Past. Inspiring Our Future.
Saint Paschal Baylon School (SPBS) opened its doors in September 1963, welcoming 286 students in Grades 1–6. Founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame alongside dedicated lay teachers, the school began with a single building and a strong commitment to Catholic education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service.
As enrollment grew, SPBS expanded its campus with additional classroom space and facilities to better serve students and families. Over the years, former classrooms were thoughtfully repurposed into a library, music space, and extended care areas.
In 1997, following more than three decades of service by the Sisters of Notre Dame, SPBS entered a new chapter with the appointment of its first lay principal. This transition marked an important milestone in the school’s history, blending long-standing traditions with forward-thinking leadership.
Since then, SPBS has continued to evolve with purposeful campus improvements, including a dedicated Junior High program, a science lab, enhanced fine arts spaces, and expanded technology integration. Today, under the leadership of Principal Ryan Bushore, Saint Paschal Baylon School serves students in a close-knit, faith-centered environment that honors its rich history while preparing students for the future.
