FORMING FAITH, NURTURING MINDS, INSPIRING LEADERSHIP
We believe in educating the whole child academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally, while building strong foundations in leadership, confidence, and character that last a lifetime.
OUR CATHOLIC FAITH
Through a close partnership between our school and parish, we form students grounded in faith, integrity, and strong moral character.
At Saint Paschal Baylon, our thriving parish community is essential to nurturing the spiritual and moral foundations that guide our children. Through acts of service, shared prayer, and a visible commitment to living the Gospel, parents show our young people what it truly means to walk in faith. Together, we build a community where children see compassion in action, experience the joy of giving, and learn that faith grows strongest when it is shared. We are deeply grateful for the families who make our parish a place of warmth, purpose, and unwavering support.

OUR CATHOLIC FAITH
Faith Formation
At Saint Paschal Baylon School, “To Teach as Jesus did” is at the heart of our school community. Parents are recognized as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith, and our school works in close partnership with families and the parish to nurture strong Catholic identity alongside academic excellence.
We prepare and encourage students to hear the Gospel message, live out their faith, worship God, build a Christ-centered community, and serve others with compassion. Each student is valued as a unique individual with God-given physical, social, emotional, and intellectual gifts. Providing a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment is a top priority as we guide students to reach their full spiritual, academic, and personal potential.
Prayer is a natural and integral part of daily life at Saint Paschal Baylon School. Each day begins with prayer, students give thanks before meals, and religion instruction is part of the daily curriculum. Students attend weekly school Mass and regularly participate in devotions such as the Rosary and the Stations of the Cross during Lent.

OUR CATHOLIC FAITH
Our Catholic Identity: Faithfully Taught, Respectfully Shared
As part of our Catholic school community, we want to affirm that the teachings of the Catholic faith, including beliefs about Mary, the Saints, and the Eucharist, are shared with our students in a way that is faithful to Church tradition and respectful of all families. Catholics do not worship Mary or the Saints; rather, we honor Mary and the Saints and ask for their intercession with God, we ask them to pray for us, while always affirming that worship and adoration are reserved for God alone. Students also learn that Catholics believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, which is central to Catholic worship and identity. At the same time, our community remains inclusive and welcoming of students and families from other Christian traditions and faith backgrounds, fostering mutual respect, understanding, and a shared commitment to living out the values of love, service, and compassion.
OUR FAITH
Sacramental Life
In partnership with Saint Paschal Baylon Parish, we prepare our second grade students to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, guiding them with reverence, understanding, and joy.
We are also blessed to support students who seek to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, working closely with the parish to walk alongside families in this sacred step of faith.
Students who have received their First Reconciliation are given the opportunity to participate in Confession several times throughout the school year during the school day. Families are encouraged to support their children by helping them prepare through an examination of conscience and practicing the steps of Confession at home.
All students receive instruction in Religion. The teachings and values of our Catholic faith are intentionally infused throughout every subject area, classroom, and interaction, making Catholic identity central to our mission and philosophy of education.

CLOSER TO CHRIST
Retreats & Special Faith Experiences
Saint Paschal Baylon School marks the seasons of Advent and Lent with school-wide activities that invite reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth. Students participate in special traditions throughout the year, including student-led liturgical celebrations, live Stations of the Cross, May Crowning and observances of major feast days. Additional faith-formation and retreats are offered regularly to strengthen students’ relationship with Christ and deepen their understanding of our Christian faith.

About Us
The Nicene Creed:
What Catholics Believe
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and His kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
