At Saint Paschal Baylon School, our Extended Care Program provides a safe, structured, and caring environment for students after regular school hours. Designed to support working families, Extended Care continues the SPBS mission by fostering Christian values while meeting the social and personal needs of each child.

Extended Care is available to students currently enrolled at SPBS.
 

Hours of Operation

Extended Care begins on the first day of school and follows the SPBS academic calendar.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday:  3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Thursday:  2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Noon Dismissal Days: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m

Kindergarten (September only): 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
 

Extended Care is Closed on the last day of school in June.

Two Extended Care Coordinators are present each school day to ensure supervision and care.
 

Automatic Sign-In Policy
 

To maintain a safe campus environment:

• Kindergarten students attending Extended Care are released directly to Extended Care staff.

• Students in Grades 1–8 must report to the designated Extended Care sign-in area after dismissal unless participating in a supervised school activity.
   

Students remaining on campus after the following times and who are not in a school-sponsored activity or under direct parental supervision will be automatically signed into Extended Care and billed accordingly:

• 3:00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)

• 2:00 p.m. (Thursday)

Pick-Up & General Information
 

• Parents/guardians must personally sign out their child.

• Students will only be released to authorized adults on file.

• Children may not be taken from the yard or campus without notifying Extended Care staff.

• Extended Care closes promptly at 6:00 p.m. Late Pick-Up Fee: $1.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m.

• A light snack will be provided for each child during their Extended Care visit.

• On Noon Dismissal Days, it is imperative that parents provide a sack lunch for their children.

• There is no Morning Extended Care. Students are not permitted on campus until 7:30 a.m. as that is when staff supervision begins. 

Rates & Billing
 

Billing begins at dismissal time and is calculated in half-hour increments with a one-hour minimum charge.
 

One Child: Regular Rate - $9.00/hour; Pre-pay Rate - $8.50/hour

Two Children: Regular Rate - $15.00/hour; Pre-pay Rate - $14.00/hour

Three Children: Regular Rate - $19.00/hour; Pre-pay Rate - $17.50/hour
 

Families may receive the discounted pre-pay rate by submitting payment in advance through the school office.

Extended Care is offered on an as-needed basis, and families are billed only for time used. All extended care fee payments are handled through the school office. Questions should be referred to the SPBS Accounts Manager. Billing will be sent from the school office at the end of each month, along with a statement of your account.
