KINDERGARTEN AT SPBS

Welcome to Kindergarten at Saint Paschal Baylon School (SPBS)

At SPBS, Kindergarten is an exciting first step in your child’s academic journey, offering a seamless transition from preschool to a faith-centered elementary education. Here, your child will thrive in a nurturing, structured environment designed to foster growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

FAITH AND FRIENDSHIP

✔  Daily Religion Classes: Students learn about the Bible, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and discover God’s gifts and promises.

✔  Weekly Mass: Kindergarteners attend Friday Mass with the entire school and lead one Mass during the year.

✔  "Buddy Program": Each Kindergartener is paired with a Sixth Grade "Big Buddy" to foster mentorship and connection within our community.

STRONG ACADEMICS IN A CARING ENVIRONMENT

ENRICHMENT AND EXPLORATION

✔  Weekly Enrichment Classes: Spanish, Art, Library, Technology, Physical Education, and Music are taught by extracurricular teachers.

✔  Exciting Field Trips: Visits to a pumpkin patch, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, and Moorpark College Teaching Zoo bring learning to life and spark curiosity.

FULL-DAY KINDERGARTEN

Our program runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., offering a full day of learning, discovery, and fun. Your child will build the academic, social, and spiritual foundation needed for a seamless transition to First Grade and beyond. (Children must be five years old by September 1 to enroll.)

At SPBS, Kindergarten is more than just school—it’s a community where your child will grow in faith, knowledge, and friendship. We look forward to welcoming your family and helping your child shine!
