Biography

Hi, my name is Tom Mayer and I joined Saint Paschal Baylon School in 2019 as the Part-Time School Counselor.  My 3 children attended SPBS and my wife Barbara has taught at Saint Paschal's for 31 years.  After attending both Catholic Elementary School and High School, I graduated from St. John's S. College with a philosophy degree and then earned an M.S. in Counseling and Guidance and the CA Stat PPS Credential from CLU.  I taught 7th and 9th grade at Chaminade for 7 years and then was a School Counselor in the Moorpark Unified School District for 30 years.  Some of my favorite things to do are; hanging with my family, reading, playing the drums, celebrating liturgy, playing basketball, following Angel baseball and anything Norte Dame.  Meeting the students, parents and staff at Saint Paschal's continues to be a true blessing!
