Mission Statement

We believe that our mission as Catholic Educators in a changing world is to provide for the formation of the whole child, fostering spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and aesthetic growth by implementing the spirit of the document,
"To Teach As Jesus Did".

Mass with studentsCatholic elementary education is an expression of the important mission entrusted by Jesus to His church. Through Catholic parochial education, the church seeks to prepare children to proclaim the “Good News”; translate this proclamation into action; and thereby help to make the world a better place. Saint Paschal Baylon School (SPBS) has been providing quality Catholic parochial education for over 45 years. However, we can only continue the proud traditions and legacy of our parish school with your financial support.

Every student at Saint Paschal Baylon School is Catholic, and current in their Sacramental preparation. Saint Paschal Baylon School places a priority on the catholicity of our students, faculty, and school community. To create an atmosphere focused on excellence in education and faith formation for Catholic students, we need financial support beyond the required tuition and fees. Our tuition and fees do not cover the actual cost of educating a student at SPBS. Therefore, it is imperative that we look to donors to help close this “gap”.

Mike Scioscia and Jim HillThe most effective way to ensure the continued viability of our school is through the SPBS Endowment Fund. This fund has the potential to help us continue to achieve our goals of excellence in academics and faith formation; well-maintained facilities; and a qualified, competent faculty and staff. However, to truly have a long-term and positive impact, our SPBS Endowment Fund must continue to grow. We encourage you to give generously to the SPBS Endowment Fund. These funds may only be used by and for the school.

In addition to the Endowment Fund, SPBS generates an annual “Wish List” of specific classroom and curricular items, and suggestions for donations. All donations made to SPBS are tax deductible, as allowed by law.

Students in classMany larger companies offer a “Matching Funds” program, whereby the company matches dollar for dollar donations to schools by their employees. We hope you will research whether or not the company you work for sponsors this wonderful program, and if so, please apply to participate. By using a “Matching Funds” program, you literally double your donation to SPBS. Your financial donation may be a general one, or you may specify how you wish the funds to be allocated.

Your financial stewardship and support of SPBS will directly and profoundly benefit our students, and help us continue Jesus’ mission of Catholic education. For more information, please send me an email or call (805) 495‑9340.
