Class Projects 2009
These beautiful hand-crafted Class Projects and exciting Theme Baskets were created by our talented students, parents and teachers. They were auctioned off at the Hot Stove Dinner on January 17, 2009.
Kindergarten Project: Quilt
In keeping with the theme of this school year, each of the children painted a 10”x10” square depicting how they evangelize through their own actions such as sharing, praying and doing good deeds. The squares are sewn together and centered around their class mascot; Winnie the Pooh and his friend Tigger. This is an heirloom you and your child will treasure for years to come. Value: Priceless

Second Grade Project: Keepsake Rosary
This Rosary was hand-painted by Mrs. Kourounis with each of the children’s names painted directly on the blue and purple beads. What a great way to remember someone in prayer! And because this beautiful symbol of our faith deserves a special home, this project includes an exquisitely beaded satin box. Value: Priceless

Third Grade Project: Garden Bench
The cherry-stained garden bench created by the Third Grade is etched with the signature of each of the students. And to ensure this garden bench is as comfortable as it is beautiful, it comes with a custom-sewn seat cushion in blue and white.
The bench is prominently marked by a plaque engraved with “Class of 2014” and the Bible verse from Luke 18:16: “Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Value: Priceless

Fourth Grade Project: Faces of Fourth Memory Book
The 11” x 14” black leather-bound photo book is a must have! Each Fourth Grader is captured in a candid color photo along with a personal inscription detailing what they like best about themselves. It’s a unique way to look back at the emerging individuals that make up the Class of 2013. Value: Priceless |

Fifth Grade Project: Photo Blanket
Each member of the Fifth Grade is recorded on the quilt along with Mrs. Duffy, Mrs. Mayer and Mrs. Anderson. This project comes with a special bonus: be cool and hip playing your favorite music on your stylish engraved iPod Nano or play games and watch movies in your new Boomchair Shark Gaming Chair. Sixth Grade Project: Decorative Cross
This hand-crafted mosaic is intricately tiled with small pieces of art glass, in shades of blue, green, orange and red. Built upon a base of solid wood, this cross stands 24 inches tall and is 11 inches wide. The back of the cross is signed by each of the Sixth Graders, permanently recording their time together during their years at SPBS. This beautiful symbol of our faith is sure to be a treasured memory for years to come. Value: Priceless |

Seventh Grade Project: Tiled Bookcase
Individual, hand-painted tiles depicting symbols of nature are highlighted with mosaic tiles and chipped glass. This beautiful and practical piece of art could compliment the interior of your home for years to come. The bookcase stands four feet high and is three feet wide. Additionally, favorite books from many of the students have been placed on the shelves to add to the sentiment and value of the project presented by the class of 2010. Value: Priceless |

Special Bonus Item: Angels Diamond Club Tickets
Arrangements need to be made by the winner, through the SPBS principal, at the beginning of the Angels’ regular season. Please provide us with 2-3 choices of games/dates, to help ensure that Mr. Scioscia is able to accommodate your wishes, since Diamond Club seats are sold out prior to the start of the season. A visit to the Diamond Club, in the “Big A”, to watch an Angels game from the “Scioscia’s seats” will be an incredibly memorable special occasion for this lucky winner and three guests! labels designed by the Class of 2009. And to enhance your entertaining,

a matching wine trivet decorated with the teachers’ names
and fingerprints, a decorative wine holder and wine charms handmade
by the Class of 2009.
